FUNERAL.
The funeral of Joyce Handy will take place on TUESDAY 6TH. OCTOBER at Christ Church at 12.00noon. followed by burial in the Cemetery.

HERITAGE WEEKEND.
Thank you to everyone who helped with the Open Weekend, once again we had a steady stream of visitors.
We all enjoyed the concert on Sunday afternoon. There was music to suit everyone, and it was superb!! Many, many thanks to the musicians and singers, please come again!!!!
As part of our project to find out more about the history of our Church, we asked the visitors to write down their memories of the Church. We would now like to invite you to share your memories with us. Just write them down and drop them into Church either on a Tuesday morning or any Sunday morning. Thank you, and we look forward to hearing from you.
Over the weekend we were also visited by people from the land of “Lilliput”!!!!
CHANCEL ROOF.
After discussions with the architect, tenders will shortly be going out for the restoration of the Chancel roof, and the process of obtaining faculties, where necessary, and grant applications, will be started.
The scaffolding will be taken down temporarily, then replaced in a different position when required.
No roosting bats were found when the inspection took place.
Please remember us in your prayers as we strive to keep our “Little Gem” going for another few years.
